Great story about brothers from Congo learning to drive in Winnipeg. Driving / transportation issues are huge for refugees. Many have not driven before; few have driven in northern hemisphere winters. When they end up in cities with inadequate public transportation, many start driving without licenses and insurance. The cost of vehicle ownership is beyond the reach of many, but they try to make the stretch anyway. Fargo used to have some programs like the one described here, but I think all have been defunded.
